Dato’ Nazmi Ab Talib, is currently the Managing Director and shareholder of Emerging Payments Sdn Bhd, a bumiputera company specializing in software, mobile development and system integration. Educated from within the MARA education systems, he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and Management majoring in Accounting & Finance from Lincoln University, Canterbury New Zealand in 1997.

Early in his career, he is a full-scholarship winner of Renong Group Scholarship Trust Fund, managed by a notable Malaysian Government Link Company, where he had the opportunity to work in various companies under the Renong Berhad's flagship, namely, Faber Group Bhd, Projek Lebuhraya Utara Selatan Bhd, Time dotcom Bhd, Time Engineering Bhd, and finally as a Senior Management role in Time Quantum Technology Sdn Bhd.

Experienced in many role & sectors, such as in operations and financial audit (Faber Group in 1997), toll operations and revenue management (PLUS in 1998), telecommunications product management (Time dotcom in 2000), aide to the Chief Operating Officer in IT investments (Time Engineering in 2003) and as Head of Business Development and Operations (Time Quantum Technology in 2004), he has developed into an all rounder in Strategic, Financial & Operational areas when setting up his first IT business in 2005. He has a wide knowledge and experience in business and project financing, business planning and substantial contacts within the IT Industries and Government Agencies to support his current business operations. His latest venture was to create a strategic product for Education-based Foundations to bring together communities and digitalise the Malaysian school environment with no cost, and a collaboration with a notable Malaysian Bank to strengthen its market position within the Education sector.

Specialising in e-Payment, Field Force Automation & Point of Sales system, we are focused in providing solutions to our clients using web based or native applications for both cloud or remote server environment. Our equipment are monitored for uptime and performance centrally through a real-time monitoring dashboard that is able to take proactive measures to ensure our product SLAs are met.

We have currently expanded our business into the Education sector by providing a cashless school and student management system for Malaysian public and private schools via a e-payment enabler platform called i-3s. This platform comes together with a POS device that is robust and industrial grade, and a systems that manages the students, teachers and parents communications via web and mobile.

The i-3s project is a collaboration with Malaysia Ministry of Education that resulted in a student management systems that solves every stakeholder's daily problems in managing their child's lifestyle in school. It manages the expenditure of students using a online prepaid card and automate attendance monitoring and analysis. It also connects parents with school and teachers via school mobile application to enable them to be more involved in monitoring the child's academic and discipline at schools. Approved by the Malaysian Ministry of Education starting 2015, we have established the need and CSR strategy on implementing i-3s to the K12 schools, including approximately 10,000 public schools in Malaysia and expanding to the private schools, boarding schools inside and out of Malaysia. Our programme will involve all stakeholders in any education institution as we believe that a system is as good as its users experience and support.

Whether cash or cashless, we integrate the common point of sales system to be able to be put at the most remote location without wired network access and lack of electrical power source, and connect it to a backend systems for remote management and equipment monitoring. As a value add, Self Helpdesk is also included via our very own Android POS terminal. Examples of deployment is for mobile Waqaf and Zakat Collection System, Retail and Parking cashless systems, School Payment Terminal with online data connection via mobile internet, and stand-alone cafeteria cashless POS system using smartcards.
